Job Summary
Finance Analyst II at Blue Origin’s Honeybee Robotics unit. Responsibilities include building and implementing automation using AI/Excel/SQL, mining and reconciling data across systems, supporting month-end close and journal entries, budgeting, program performance monitoring, project-level financial analysis, and developing financial models and reporting. The role emphasizes improving data quality, partnering with program leadership and department owners, and gaining strong knowledge of the ERP system (IFS) to move manual processes into the system. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting (or related field), at least 2 years of relevant experience, SQL data extraction, and advanced Excel/Office skills; preferred qualifications include experience with ERP/BI tools (IFS, Databricks, D365) and government-contract support. Compensation range for CO applicants is $77,961.00 - $109,145.40 annually; benefits include health coverage, 401(k), parental leave, PTO, and other company programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related analytical field
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated performance in a relevant role
- Moderate proficiency in data extraction using SQL programming
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to earn trust and maintain positive, professional relationships with key business partners and the broader finance team
- Experience with extracting data from qualitative and quantitative data sources to support business planning and performance measurement
- Intellectual curiosity in the products, underlying business processes and impact of financial decisions within the Honeybee Robotics business unit
