Job Summary
Entry-level Financial Analyst I responsible for preparing and analyzing budgets and operational performance reports under guidance. Partners with functional and operations managers to develop annual budgets, track and report variances, generate standard financial reports, prepare forecasts for estimates at completion and total funding by CLIN, reconcile commitments with procurement data, coordinate invoicing with Accounting, support collection efforts, and assist in cost proposals for construction targets. Requires strong written/verbal communication, organizational skills, proficiency with Excel and financial software, and ability to travel occasionally; U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent field of study
- Entry-level professional capacity with a strong foundation in basic financial and accounting principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and detail-oriented work
- Working knowledge of word processing, standard financial software applications, and Excel
- Ability to travel occasionally as required by project needs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
