Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

Job Summary
Financial Analyst role in a fintech/finance environment focused on turning data into business insights. Responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models for revenue, pricing, profitability, customer behavior, and operational performance; analyzing KPIs to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities; supporting monthly forecasting, annual planning, and long-range strategic modeling; developing dashboards and reporting to help leaders make faster, smarter decisions; partnering cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, analytics, and operations; translating complex data into concise recommendations for leadership; supporting board materials and investor reporting; exploring AI and automation to improve finance operations; and contributing to AI-enabled analytics initiatives. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, 2–5 years of FP&A or related experience, strong Excel and financial modeling, experience with BI/tools such as Power BI/Tableau/SQL, and eligibility to work in the U.S. The role is Hybrid with in-office presence in Austin, TX for at least three days per week and two remote days to balance collaboration with autonomy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a quantitative discipline
- 2–5 years of FP&A, strategic finance, analytics, or related experience
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with BI/Reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
- Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
- Hybrid work model with in-office presence at least three days a week and remote option for remaining days
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a quantitative discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, analytics, consulting, investment banking, or related fields
- Experience with large datasets and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar
- A passion for AI-enabled analytics, process automation, and operational intelligence tools
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience supporting executive or board-level reporting
- MBA, CFA, or progress toward advanced certifications
