Job Summary
Review board materials for Affiliates and prepare commentary and analysis for board members, presenting advice on upcoming board meetings and projects to senior management. Engage with affiliates to establish robust finance functions and processes, while developing, mentoring, and coaching other team members. Coordinate internal Subject Matter Experts to support affiliate matters and brief management on operational issues, new projects, and initiatives. Perform financial analysis on due diligence for Affiliates and their upcoming projects, and prepare accounting entries for Affiliate investments as applicable. Requires 10+ years of Group Finance experience in oil, gas, or power sectors, with an advanced professional certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced professional certification such as a CPA, CA, or CFA
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in financial reporting and accounting research (IFRS)
- Experience in international taxation
- Experience in financial analysis
- Experience in financial modelling
- Experience in business development
- Experience in mergers & acquisitions
- Experience in corporate governance
- Experience in internal controls
- Experience in financing & cash management
- Experience in consulting
- Experience in Group Finance
- Industry experience in oil & gas, chemicals, or power generation
- Managerial experience
- Proficiency in oral and written English
