Job Summary
Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations to conform with internal control requirements. Analyze and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance to explain variances and determine key drivers impacting service, category management, and product lines. Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for applicable business units and operating cost centers. Provide sales, margin, and pricing analysis for key business units and product lines. Participate in new product development teams as the finance lead, preparing business cases, sensitivity analyses, and recommendations to drive program success. Lead special projects as requests are made. Partner with the Mercury Parts & Accessories business unit to gather, analyze, and report data supporting strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2 or more years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to drive alignment among key stakeholders across business unit functions
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a team environment with various functions of an organization
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
