Job Summary
Complete month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations for Cost of Goods, Inventory, Revenue, and Provisions. Develop and maintain annual standard costs in SAP, analyze manufacturing variances, and support new product costing. Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure accurate product costing, investigate financial discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions for cost variances. Support revenue recognition under ASC 606, perform quarterly excess and obsolete inventory analysis, and maintain cost rollups. Lead process improvement initiatives and improve reporting through SAP, Excel, Power BI, and Smartsheet. Required Qualifications
- B.A. in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in finance or cost accounting
- Manufacturing experience
- Advanced level excel
- Technical skills in cost accounting, standard costing, manufacturing finance and inventory accounting
- Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial partners
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Proficiency with the English Language
