Job Summary
Financial Analyst responsible for accounting and financial analysis, maintaining an internal control environment that protects company property and minimizes risk, and provides support to others within the department and management as needed. Key responsibilities include: Reconcile cash daily; resolve accounting discrepancies; reconcile balance sheet accounts; establish and monitor accounting control procedures; prepare and maintain documentation for business and accounting transactions; analyze financial information to recommend efficient use of resources and procedures; investigate variances; interact with operations to understand changes in financial results; create policies and procedures documentation; process accounts receivable and accounts payable; manage cash disbursements via check, ACH, and wire; provide support for special projects; and deliver strategic recommendations and solutions to business and financial problems.
Required Qualifications
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
- A professional, confident, reliable, trustworthy, and positive demeanor
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
- Action and detail oriented
- Ability to analyze processes and implement improvements and internal controls where necessary
- Demonstrated ability to: work and adapt in an evolving-priority environment; follow processes and protocols; meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; learn software tools/applications; exhibit high integrity with confidential information
