Job Summary
Prepare the annual incurred cost submission to the government and calculate quarterly indirect rates for provisional billing. Manage customer invoicing for cost plus programs and conduct monthly accounting close analysis to track overhead and SG&A spend. Generate financial analysis reports on labor and customer order activities while ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards. Assist with annual planning and close processes under tight time constraints. This role supports the Director of FP&A within a company driving electrification for defense, aviation, and space markets.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Finance and/or Accounting
- 3-5+ years' experience as a Financial Analyst or Accountant
- Government accounting and reporting
- FAR and CAS experience
- Strong PC and analytical skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organization and communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization
- Highly financially literate
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under tight time constraints, and multi-task on various projects
- Familiar with, or can quickly become familiar with, the company's operations and strategy
- Takes a proactive approach, is energetic and works with a sense of urgency
- Develops effective working relationships with all levels, functions, and operations of the company
- Focuses on continuous improvement of processes
