Financial Analyst | Distribution St. Louis, MO

Financial Analyst will work with the leadership of our Private Label Brands team and other members in Category Management on financial expectations and performance of their products. Responsibilities include financial oversight over internal cost support, approval of cost support initiatives, monitoring financial performance and communicating trends, assessing cost support requests with business-case assumptions (volume, pricing, growth rate, market assumptions), reviewing product financial performance and advising partners on revenue, cost and margin trends, identifying improvement opportunities and developing plans, monthly profitability reconciliations, and collaborating with the General Manager on profitability reporting enhancements. Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail; strong data analytics and ability to work with data to support cost requirements and profit trends. Requirements include a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred), 4+ years in data analytics or financial reporting/forecasting, high proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel, ability to adapt to new analytical tools, strong analytical and project management skills, and proficiency with data visualization software (PowerBI).
