Job Summary
Maintain working versions of project business plans, ensuring actuals tie to accounting systems and forecast data reflect current contracts. Prepare monthly investor reports by aggregating financial information, incorporating review comments, and supporting monthly investor presentations. Develop relationships with stakeholders including investors and lenders to provide requested information and leadership insights on project changes. Support the accounting close process and oversee project accounting functions including cash management, general ledger, job cost, and contract management. Assist in the annual business plan process and support financial comparison and approval processes for project budgets. Draft memos and provide ad hoc financial analysis for equity partners, financing needs, and internal requests. Participate in regular development, sales, and club operations calls while maintaining general knowledge of ongoing activity. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or other applicable field
- 1+ years of job-related experience, skill, and knowledge
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Long hours may be required due to business demands
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with US GAAP preferred
- Real Estate experience preferred
- Prior working knowledge of accounting applications including Timberline, Sage Intacct and Procore are highly desirable
- Experience in creating and analyzing advanced Excel models and utilizing advanced functions preferred
- Additional languages preferred (Spanish is a plus)
