Job Summary
Produce monthly and quarterly financial reports and ad hoc analyses using the EPSi decision support system, Tableau, SQL, and Excel to monitor hospital performance. Maintain and process the EPSi Decision Support System, manage cost accounting and contract modeling, and support projects identifying cost-saving opportunities and physician resource utilization. Package analytical findings with clear recommendations, reconcile data from general ledger and billing sources, and proactively communicate barriers to meet deadlines. Monitor data integrity and process flows while participating in special audits and performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems
- A minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience in not-for-profit, healthcare or accounting
- Action-oriented, with experience managing aggressive deadlines and strength across a broad range of technical skills
- Strong foundation in financial analysis and/or accounting
- Must have a general understanding of the healthcare industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and/or SQL
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- High-level of proficiency in Tableau, Excel, SQL, and Decision Support reporting programs
- Experience working with a decision support/cost accounting system
- Experience in data transformation/manipulation
- Basic understanding of database relationships and structures
- Experience in Business Intelligence/visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
