Job Summary
Analyze key variances in Balance Sheets and Income Statements for CPE entities and assist in building annual operating plans and forecasts. Prepare HFM-based financial reports for senior management, validate year-end schedules, and support global HFM users with reporting issues. Build and improve templates for month-end close and recurring finance activities while partnering with finance leaders to implement process improvements. Validate monthly productivity figures and apply Operational Excellence tools to drive efficiency and financial insights. This role offers visibility into strategic decision-making across the ChemPharma/Energy group, supported by hands-on experience with Hyperion Financial Management and a holistic understanding of Crane's structure and operations.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Must demonstrate strong analytical and excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Independent thinker possessing resilience, passion, and high-energy
- Organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills and an interest in learning financial systems and reporting tools
- Working knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices, with a willingness to deepen technical accounting knowledge on the job
