Job Summary
Financial Analyst (Cost Accounting & FP&A) to support plant-level cost accounting, inventory valuation, BOMs, standard costs, variance analysis, and FP&A routines in an on-site Janesville, IA manufacturing environment serving defense and first responders. Responsibilities include maintaining standard costs, cost roll-ups, labor/material/overhead costing, periodic financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, KPI dashboards, ERP data management, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, and supply chain. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, 1–3 years in accounting/finance/manufacturing, advanced Excel, understanding of financial statements and cost accounting, strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills. Preferred: ERP experience (Epicor/SAP/Oracle), standard costing, inventory accounting; interest in defense manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or manufacturing environment (internship experience considered)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Basic understanding of financial statements and cost accounting principles
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally
