Job Summary
Responsible for general business and financial support for the Cell Manipulation Core Facility (CMCF), including clinical and research billing, patient charge entry, vendor payments, reporting and analysis, budget reconciliation, and purchasing needs. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and supports the monthly general ledger closing and annual budget development. Manages daily financial transactions, maintains salary rosters, generates staff expense reports, and processes procurement (POs, reimbursements, etc.). Participates in business process redesign and improvements across multiple projects/budgets and assists in budget management. Requires excellent computer skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication with clinical staff and senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office applications
- Workday experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong judgment, discretion, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Attention to detail and ability to perform reconciliations and controls
