Job Summary
Capital Markets Analyst in Raleigh will support the capital markets function for a real estate development and management firm. Underwrite acquisition and development deals using Excel and ARGUS; prepare investment materials and RFPs; collaborate with asset/property managers to update investment projections; prepare quarterly investor presentations; assist in due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions; support debt and equity closings; advance business intelligence initiatives; conduct market research on investment opportunities; review leases, rent rolls, operating statements, and other financial documents; perform ad hoc analyses as required.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in real estate finance or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Excel, ARGUS, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to analyze and interpret real estate documents including leases, contracts, and financial statements
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Collaborative mindset and desire to learn about the commercial real estate industry
