Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and complex financial models to support Commercial, Operations, IT, and Facilities teams. Distill site-level and brand-level data using seasonality curves and week-over-week trends, then synthesize large datasets with optimized Power BI capabilities. Analyze financial performance drivers via Smartview and EPM, prepare monthly presentations with compelling visuals for leadership, and manage statistical account loads into ERP and Labor systems. Partner with Finance Business Managers to identify cost outliers and savings opportunities while validating data for capital project approvals. This FP&A role within the US team drives continuous improvement and supports reporting deadlines for Applegreen's expanding roadside retail network.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree
- 2-3 years FP&A experience in financial analyst role or similar
- Advanced skills in developing complex financial models
- Superior analytical acumen to interpret and challenge data and to interrogate financial systems
- High/Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Functions, Pivot Tables), Power BI, Smartview, Oracle EPM
- Strong aptitude to create PowerPoint presentations to provide clear visuals that facilitate decision making and provide actionable insights on key performance indicators
- Hybrid position with 3 days per week worked in our Glen Rock NJ office location and 2 days per week worked remotely
