Job Summary
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. Analyze financial data to create models for decision support and report performance for leadership reviews. Evaluate actual results against plans to identify trends, drive cost control, and recommend optimizations. Guide the cost analysis process by establishing policies and create standard reports, tools, and Excel dashboards. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting and educate internal clients on accounting principles. Full-time on-site role in the Clear Lake area reporting to the Director of Finance. Requires a BS in Finance or related field and advanced Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 0-3+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
- Must be able to meet attendance requirements of small office
- This position requires working on-site at our office during regular business hours
- This is not a remote or hybrid role
- Candidates local to the Houston/Clear Lake area only
Desired Qualifications
- Additional qualification (e.g. CPA or CFA or MBA) a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL and/or FCC (Fleet Cost & Care) NexGen preferable
