Job Summary
Partner with external travel vendors to drive program improvements and resolve issues while liaising with internal stakeholders to design and enhance travel workflows and controls. Serve as the AP Compliance approver for travel-related expense transactions, review proactive trip reporting to identify compliance gaps, and manage exception workflows to expedite traveler expense reconciliation. Conduct compliance audits of Travel & Expense transactions, analyze travel spend data to identify trends and savings opportunities, and prepare recurring reports and dashboards for leadership. Monitor shared traveler support inboxes to resolve urgent inquiries and assist end users with Salesforce help desk tickets regarding policy compliance. Collaborate with off-site audit teams, card providers, and carriers to ensure program adherence, participate in system testing for upgrades, and recommend improvements to AP processes based on audit findings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years relevant work experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

- ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- direct experience with business travel management
- sound knowledge of Travel & Expense reimbursements
- experience analyzing large data sets
- comfort with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Experience managing institutional Travel & Expense functionality
- Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of nonprofit, healthcare or other related accounting experience
- At least one year of ERP system experience (PeopleSoft FSCM)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functionality
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities
