Financial Analyst/ Accountant

Job Summary

Analyze financial and operational results, support monthly forecasting activities, and contribute to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Review key variances in the Balance Sheet and Income Statements, validate HFM submissions, and prepare financial reports for senior management. Support site financial controls, including SOX compliance, inventory controls, and product costing, while developing templates for month-end close and budgeting. Partner with operations and supply chain teams to identify cost improvement opportunities and implement process improvements using Operational Excellence tools. Assist with quarterly forecasts, weekly financial pulse reviews, and special projects to broaden business leadership experience.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. in accounting, finance, or related degree
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office software
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices
  • Working knowledge of (SOX) Sarbanes Oxley compliance

Desired Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting
  • ERP experience
