Job Summary
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting for a facility of approximately 170 employees. Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, explain variances, and support business decisions. Manage accounting activities related to inventory, purchasing, manufacturing costs, and capital spending while partnering with plant leadership to resolve discrepancies. Maintain fixed-asset and capital project records, monitor spending, and support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvement initiatives. This temporary assignment lasts approximately 12-16 weeks with a Monday-Friday hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- five or more years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of general accounting
- GAAP
