Job Summary
Financial Analyst 2 (H) at University of Miami/UHealth OB/GYN, a full-time role in Miami, FL. Core duties include compiling and analyzing financial information for Auxiliary Services, preparing budgets, forecasts, projections, expense performance analyses, and presentations. Develops and maintains dashboards, models, and reports to support strategic plans, new services, and operational decisions. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation, designs proformas and business plans for initiatives like provider recruitment and clinical expansion, analyzes physician productivity and volume trends, supports payroll-related financial processes, ensures audit-ready documentation, and collaborates with central offices to resolve issues and improve financial workflows. Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for operational decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required
- Strong Excel skills (advanced)
- Strong financial and analytical acumen
- Ability to interpret complex data and connect financial results to operational performance
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work with faculty, practice managers, and administrative leadership
- Healthcare financial concepts familiarity (e.g., physician productivity metrics such as wRVUs)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines
