Job Summary
Financial Analyst responsible for analyzing large data sets to identify trends and drive financial performance, building and maintaining detailed financial models and reports, developing automated reporting and forecasting tools, and delivering regular weekly, monthly, and annual financial dashboards. Supports cross-functional projects with ad-hoc reports and collaborates with the Director of Financial Operations to resolve data discrepancies. Requires advanced Excel and Access, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and 3-5 years of experience in finance/Accounting environments; role is onsite in a corporate office (Ann Arbor, MI).
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business Related fields
- 3-5 years' experience as financial analyst
- Experience working in an environment with large data sets
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Access
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to extract, clean and prepare large datasets
- Independent work capability
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
