Financial Analysis Vice President - Commercial Banking

Job Summary
As a Vice President in the Commercial Banking (CB) Finance team, you will lead business and financial analytics and reporting for senior CB leadership, create and maintain financial models, and conduct deep-dive analyses on key drivers to influence strategic direction. You will develop and present qualitative and quantitative analyses for internal clients including senior management, support ad-hoc projects, and prepare materials for financial reporting meetings, quarterly reviews, and budgets. You will partner with Business Management and Analytics and Reporting teams to deliver insightful reporting focused on drivers and actionable insights, drive value by simplifying processes and accelerating automation, and lead and manage a team to sustain high-impact analytics and business support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- 7+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Finance, Planning & Analysis and/or Accounting
- Experience in corporate financial analytics with an understanding of a Bank’s balance sheet, P&L and key drivers
- Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables; strategic thinker
- Excellent verbal & written communication and relationship management skills, strong executive presence, and ability to tell a story with data
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate appropriately
- Strong work ethic; work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and sense of urgency, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Self-starter and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary
- Experience with managing/leading a team
