Job Summary

Build and maintain Excel-based financial models to evaluate partnership economics and growth opportunities across the business development lifecycle. Develop business cases for new initiatives, including assumptions for originations, revenue, expenses, and credit losses. Perform profitability and income statement analysis to identify performance drivers and inform management decisions. Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to quantify upside potential and downside risk under adverse conditions. Analyze large historical datasets to identify trends and develop forecasts supporting strategic decision-making. Partner with cross-functional teams to align inputs, assumptions, and recommendations. Create clear, executive-ready presentations that communicate complex analysis in a concise and compelling way. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across Finance, Business Development/Sales, and Risk. Support ongoing monitoring of deal performance and key metrics, escalating insights and risks as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field
  • 2 + years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills, including building structured models and performing scenario/sensitivity analysis
  • Experience working with large datasets (extracting, cleaning, and manipulating data to produce insights)
  • Ability to translate financial results into clear recommendations and decision-ready summaries
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • Experience creating executive-ready materials in PowerPoint (or equivalent presentation tools)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • To be authorized to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer lending, auto finance, or another regulated financial services business
  • Experience supporting partnership, pricing, or deal-related analyses
  • Familiarity with credit loss concepts and risk-adjusted profitability frameworks
  • Experience building forecasts and tracking performance to plan (variance analysis)
  • Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar analytics tools
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and responding to feedback in real time
  • Interest in market and technology trends impacting automotive and lending ecosystems
