Job Summary
Join Covista as a Student Finance Analyst, supporting Title IV awarding, verification, disbursement, and credit balance processing to ensure students have necessary resources. Leverage data to generate and interpret reports, identify trends, and drive improvements across student finance operations. Responsibilities include applying Title IV knowledge, troubleshooting issues, presenting findings to leadership, collaborating with IT and other teams on system/conversion projects, training teammates, meeting SLAs, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in student accounts/financial aid preferred
- Analytical experience with data-driven decision-making
- Solid working knowledge of Title IV funding and student finance policies
- Proficiency in Excel and database/web-based applications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain NSLDS system access (not in default)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in student accounts and/or financial aid preferred
- Analytical background with data-driven decision-making
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Title IV funding and student finance policies
- NSLDS access eligibility (cannot be in default on Title IV federal aid)
