Job Summary
Senior Assistant Director of Financial Aid leads key programs and compliance initiatives, providing advanced guidance on aid policy, verification, R2T4, and loan processing. Responsible for determining eligibility and awarding within federal/state/institutional guidelines, conducting audits to ensure accuracy, delivering staff training, and supporting recruitment and retention through accurate aid guidance. Collaborates with Registrar, Student Financial Services, Enrollment Systems and Analytics, and campus partners; supervises staff and improves office operations, communications, and service delivery. Demonstrates professional judgment in adjusting awards, analyzing aid data, and maintaining data integrity, while delivering presentations to students, families, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 6 years of relevant experience
- Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
