Job Summary
The Financial Aid Officer is responsible for guiding students through the financial aid process, assisting with FAFSA completion, determining Title IV eligibility, creating cost estimates, and explaining funding options. They will work with students to gather necessary documentation, review reports to ensure financial aid processing, submit aid packages on time, and provide excellent customer service. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree, 2-4 years of business experience, and a demonstrated ability in key workplace behaviors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 2-4 years of business experience
- Demonstrated ability of Key Behaviors
- Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Federal and State funding programs helpful
- Knowledge of title IV regulations helpful
- Knowledge of Webclient software helpful
- Financial Aid Experience helpful
