Job Summary
Financial Aid Officer responsible for guiding students through the financial aid process, assisting with FAFSA submissions, determining Title IV eligibility, creating cost estimates and funding options, collecting documentation for verification, reviewing weekly reports of processed aid, submitting packages by deadlines, and ensuring accurate, timely financial aid processing with excellent customer service. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of related experience; full-time with day, evening, and weekend availability in Lakeland, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 2-4 years of business experience
- Knowledge of Federal and State funding programs helpful
- Knowledge of title IV regulations helpful
- Knowledge of Webclient software helpful
- Financial Aid Experience helpful
- Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis
