Job Summary
The Financial Aid Officer is responsible for guiding students through the financial aid process, assisting with FAFSA completion, determining title IV eligibility, creating cost estimates, and explaining funding options. The role involves working with verification documentation, ensuring timely processing of financial aid packages, and providing excellent customer service. Key behaviors include dependability, teamwork, decision making, effective communication, time management, strong work ethic, high accuracy, and innovative problem-solving. Must be available for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 2-4 years of business experience
- Demonstrated ability of Key Behaviors
- Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Federal and State funding programs helpful
- Knowledge of title IV regulations helpful
- Knowledge of Webclient software helpful
- Financial Aid Experience helpful
