Job Summary

The Financial Aid Coordinator will support the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Office of Financial Aid by delivering financial aid information to current and prospective students from application through graduation. Responsibilities include administering Title IV aid in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations; reviewing ISIR and aid applications to determine eligibility; packaging aid; processing loans and other aid; maintaining required records; resolving data discrepancies; advising students on federal, state, institutional, and external aid options; monitoring Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and aid eligibility; assisting with Return to Title IV calculations; providing financial literacy education through presentations, workshops, and orientations; documenting policies and procedures; updating website content and communications; supporting campus events and student services; and performing related duties as assigned. The role emphasizes regulatory knowledge, student communication, and ongoing process improvements within a higher education setting.”,

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, higher education, or related discipline
  • at least 2 years of related experience
  • 2+ years experience in financial aid, higher education administration, accounting, or regulatory compliance
  • experience in financial aid at an Osteopathic or Allopathic Medical College preferred
  • strong knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid laws and procedures
  • proficient in technology and multiple information systems
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • strong analytical and data evaluation abilities
