Job Summary
Provide financial aid counseling to prospective, continuing, graduate, and professional students; administer federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid programs while ensuring compliance with regulations and university policies; guide FAFSA completion, eligibility, verification, packaging of aid, and loan certification; resolve discrepancies and appeals; assist with scholarship administration and outreach to support enrollment and retention; utilize Banner SaaS, CRM platforms, and other technologies to enhance service delivery; conduct presentations and counseling across in-person, phone, email, and virtual platforms; maintain records compliant with FERPA and Title IV requirements; collaborate with Enrollment Management, Admissions, Registrar, Student Accounts, Athletics, Graduate Programs, and Academic Affairs; support financial wellness through debt management and budgeting education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of financial aid, higher education, enrollment management, student services, or related experience.
- Knowledge of federal Title IV financial aid regulations.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, compliance, and student service.
