Job Summary
Develop and maintain a clientele of investment clients through approved product lists, offering non-deposit investment accounts to Credit Union membership. Identify opportunities to help members achieve various financial goals by providing personalized guidance, education, and customized financial planning solutions. Conduct financial education seminars to grow clientele while keeping up to date in market knowledge, financial planning, technology, and wealth management tools. Achieve and surpass annual revenue goals by facilitating advisory business to develop constant recurring income and working with branch partners to increase member penetration. Prepare and maintain proper documentation, reporting, and recording within the company CRM system in accordance with compliance needs. Respond timely to suitability questions from Broker Dealer and OSJ, ensuring all required continuing education is completed. Represent WSECU Investment Management professionally and contribute new ideas to improve production and work processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, economics or Finance or equivalent work experience
- Three (3) or more years of experience in a financial sales position
- FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 and state life and health insurance licenses or ability to obtain within six months
- Satisfactory background check and clean record with securities regulations bodies
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and telephone communication skills
- Ability to calculate figures and percentages
- Ability to collect and analyze data
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to handle sensitive information
- Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, full-time minimum 40 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility to meet service needs for this exempt position
