Job Summary
Financial Advisor II at Frost Bank: build strong client relationships by meeting regularly to provide financial advice, develop new business while maintaining existing clients, analyze financial data to tailor recommendations, provide complex planning services (cash flow, retirement, education funding), and market Frost Bank and Frost Brokerage products to clients. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or 5+ years experience) and securities licenses or ability to obtain them; mortgage/insurance licenses or ability to obtain; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication, organization, and adaptability. Preferred experience includes years in investment-related sales, and professional designations (CFP, CPA, CFA, CIMAA, CTFA) or a Master’s degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related discipline or 5+ years of related experience
- FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses or FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses or the ability to obtain them within 120 days of hire
- General lines agent license: Life, accident, health, and HMO insurance or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments
- Preferred: 5+ years of investment-related sales experience with portfolio management, security analysis, and client interaction
- Preferred: Certified Financial Planner, Certified Wealth Strategist, or other designations (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIMAA, CTFA)
- Master's degree in business, economics, or related discipline
- Ability to meet licensing/credentialing timelines
