Job Summary
Host and present retirement and financial planning seminars within the Houston area to educate prospective clients on investment management, annuities, and estate planning. Convert seminar attendees into long-term client relationships by conducting in-depth meetings to understand financial goals and design customized strategies integrating tax planning and asset allocation. Serve as the lead representative for Trajan Wealth in the local market, expanding the client base through strategic community engagement and referrals. Leverage the firm's CRM and internal teams across planning, client service, and marketing to manage relationships and deliver a seamless experience. This W2 role offers a $100K base salary plus uncapped variable compensation, with top performers earning $300-600K annually.
Required Qualifications
- Clean BrokerCheck / U4 record
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Securities licenses/Certification - Series 65 or (7&66) or Professional Designation: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and Chartered Investment Counselor (CIC)
- TX Life and Annuity license
- 5+ years of financial advisory or investment experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience working with retirement planning clients
- Minimum 3 years of experience using a CRM system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proactive work style and strong personal ethics aligned with fiduciary responsibility
