Job Summary
Coordinate sales appointments, make presentations, and complete necessary paperwork for securities, annuities, and life insurance sales. Initiate cancellations and withdrawals, process security transactions, and provide consultation on investment portfolios to meet activity and production goals. Maintain effective relationships with branch personnel, facilitate meetings, and lead training efforts while establishing and enhancing customer referral networks. Comply with all broker/dealer rules, state and federal regulations, and maintain proper documentation and compliance files. Respond timely to client and prospect requests and assist in developing annual sales plans.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- A minimum of three (3) years of securities sales, annuity sales or related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Series 7, Series 63 and 65 or Series 66 licenses as well as an applicable state insurance license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related banking field
- Willingness to seek and obtain professional designations including but not limited to CFP, CFA, CIMA, AIF, CRC, or CWS
