Job Summary

Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management, financial services support, and exceptional client service. Deliver on CIBC's Imperial Service approach as a single point of contact, helping clients plan for today's needs and tomorrow's goals while securing their futures, homes, and businesses. Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning, and cultivate networks to establish new relationships and generate bottom-line results. Work full-time on-site within banking centre hours that may include evenings and weekends, traveling between multiple centres as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 – 3 years experience in providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets

  • You're a certified professional (CIRO-MFD)
  • You have current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC) and must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing
  • You're a certified professional (Quebec)
  • You have current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing
  • Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing
  • Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC)
  • It's an asset if you've completed CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790)
