Job Summary
Financial Advisor to manage and grow an assigned member portfolio (household investments typically in the $50,000–$350,000 range) and deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment guidance using a consultative approach. Responsibilities include developing plans with Conquest Planning tools, delivering investment strategies tailored to each member’s life stage and risk profile, driving asset consolidation within Cambrian’s wealth management products, collaborating with Cambrian retail branches, referring to Aviso/NEI self-serve digital wealth solutions, and expanding external referral sources through networking and centers of influence. The role emphasizes ongoing service through both video and in-person meetings, staying current on market conditions, and maintaining strong product knowledge across relevant wealth solutions; proficiency with Salesforce marketing cloud is noted as an asset. Required Qualifications
- Mutual fund license in good standing
- IFIC or Canadian Securities Course
- CFP or Personal Financial Planner designation or completion within 36 months
- Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in business, or equivalent business experience
- Minimum of three years direct selling experience
- Strong knowledge of personal financial planning theories and asset allocation
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is an asset
- Ability to manage and grow investment portfolios and develop strategies
- Proven ability to build external business referrals and collaborate with retail and digital branches
