Job Summary
Network with new and existing clients to assess short and long-term investment needs, then advise on strategies and recommend financial products. Prepare presentations, review portfolio performance, and update financial plans based on client circumstances. Develop referral relationships both internally and externally while proactively promoting Credit Union products and supporting branch launches. Stay current on industry regulations, news, and product offerings, completing required continuing education and maintaining active securities licenses. Adhere to all rules set forth by the Credit Union, FINRA, SEC, and broker/dealer.
Required Qualifications
- FINRA Series 7 and 65 or 66
- State Life & Health Insurance license
- Minimum three years' experience in financial services (i.e. Investments, Banking, or other related field)
- Successful completion of background checks and pre-employment assessments
- Oregon State Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Four-year degree desired, preferably in business related field
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), or other investment industry designations or certifications desired
- Experience working in a bank or credit union
- Experience with eMoney, Money Guide Pro, preferred
