Job Summary
Cultivate and grow financial planning relationships for Burke & Herbert Bank customers by developing partnerships with new and existing clients. Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and risk tolerance, then execute investment decisions and transactions while ensuring compliance with BSA/AML policies. Establish and maintain relationships with retail branch team members within the assigned area. Requires FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, Virginia Life Insurance License, and at least two years of financial sales experience. This exempt, full-time salaried role offers a range of $50,000 to $60,000 plus commission, along with health, dental, and vision benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed position (FINRA Series 7 and 66, or equivalent, and VA L&H)
- Ability to execute investment transactions
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of commitment to integrity and ethics
- College degree
- At least 2 years of financial sales experience
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses
- Virginia Life Insurance License
- Computer literacy, including Excel spreadsheet and word processing applications
- Ability to do periodic local travel to branch offices in assigned area
- Ability to lift files and open cabinets
- Ability to bend, stoop or stand as necessary
