Job Summary
The Financial Advisor Associate (FAA) within TD Wealth acts as primary relationship manager and advisor to prospects and clients, attracting and retaining wealth-management clients by analyzing financial information (income, cash flow, assets, liabilities), understanding short- and long-term goals, and recommending personalized investment and insurance strategies. Responsibilities include educating clients on investment and insurance options, building and maintaining client relationships through ongoing consultation and periodic reviews, and coordinating onboarding to ensure a complete, tailored financial plan. The FAA educates and coaches Retail Store staff to identify referral prospects, develops opportunities across the organization, and uses tools such as Salesforce and Money Guide Pro to track client engagement. The role requires ongoing client discovery, needs analyses, annual client reviews, and proactive guidance to meet client objectives. Travel within the assigned market is expected. The position emphasizes fiduciary client interests, compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to a positive Wealth team environment. Education and experience requirements include a Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred), 1+ years in financial services, SIE and Series 7 required (Series 66 or ability to obtain), licensing in Life & Health and related, and strong communication and planning skills.

- Regulatory compliance knowledge (FINRA, OCC, and related)
- Client relationship management skills
- Onboarding and annual review process knowledge
- Education and coaching of staff on wealth referral techniques
- Proficiency in financial analysis and planning methods
