Job Summary
Build trusted relationships with new and existing customers to help them explore financial goals, needs, and priorities. Provide personalised advice across pensions and investments with a clear focus on good customer outcomes. Hold meaningful conversations that explore circumstances, preferences, and future plans while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and risk management. Balance commercial focus with doing the right thing for customers, supported by detailed regulatory knowledge and a Diploma qualification. Work from home or local branches within the St Albans region for future coverage, initially on a 35-hour week. Join a supportive Financial Advice team to help members feel confident about their financial future.
Required Qualifications
- A Level 4 Diploma qualification in financial planning or regulated financial advice
- Experience providing regulated financial advice
- Strong knowledge of financial services regulation, quality standards and risk management
- Experience having detailed customer conversations about financial goals, personal circumstances, preferences and future plans
- A clear customer focus, with the judgement to balance commercial objectives with fair and suitable outcomes
- A confident, clear and supportive communication style, with the ability to explain complex information in a simple way
- Flexibility to work from home and, where needed, from a local branch or Skipton head office
- Based within the St Albans region
