Job Summary
Prepare complex financial statements, SEC reports (10-Ks, 10-Qs), and investor materials for retail alternative clients including BDCs, REITs, and interval funds. Compile quarterly reporting for Board Members, validate client accounts, and reconcile investment activity data to ensure accuracy. Calculate management fees, monitor fund budgets, and maintain compliance documentation for SEC filings. Serve as a first-level escalation point, interact with rating agencies, and provide training to junior associates. Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with fund accounting or fund administration
- Financial reporting and performance systems
- Retail alternative investment products (internal funds, tender offer funds, BDCs, REITs, 34 Act private funds)
- Stocks, bonds, options, and foreign securities and derivatives
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Acrobat
