Job Summary
Financial Administrator 1 will oversee the fiscal administrative activities of a unit in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts, processing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger and journal entries, assisting with monthly/quarterly/annual close procedures, and supporting budget-related tasks. The role also involves developing and documenting department policies, inputting financial transactions into university systems, and performing duties as needed to support financial operations within UCEM. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field and four years of relevant finance or accounting experience. The position is based on UC's Main Campus in Ohio and is a full-time, in-person role. UC offers extensive benefits and a comprehensive compensation package.
