Job Summary
Financial Accounting Manager at RaceTrac oversees financial reporting, accounting policy/process improvement, and team management. Key duties include managing the year-end audit, ensuring timely monthly/quarterly/year-end closes, maintaining bank compliance and census reporting processes, reviewing account reconciliations, advising on non-routine reporting, responding to senior finance leadership, providing accounting training, and maintaining control documentation across internal and external processes. Requires a 4-year accounting degree, 5+ years of accounting experience, CPA, and strong US GAAP knowledge; proficiency in Excel is essential. Leadership experience with direct reports preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting degree from a four-year college or university
- 5+ years accounting experience
- CPA required
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of US GAAP
- MS Office Suite experience, particularly Excel
- Experience with direct reports preferred
