Job Summary
Own day-to-day financial operations and execute a clean, efficient month-end close across payroll, partner reporting, and cashflow management for entities in Australia, the UK, and the US. Prepare accurate, timely reporting for leadership and the Board while maintaining statutory and tax compliance across markets. Support budgeting and reforecasting processes by maintaining models and gathering inputs to keep the financial outlook current. Leverage AI and smarter tooling to optimize finance processes and rebuild manual workflows. This core Finance role supports Tixel's mission as a rapidly growing ticket marketplace transforming the live entertainment industry.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- 2–4+ years' accounting experience, in professional services and/or industry
- CA or CPA qualified, or progressing toward it
- Strong technical foundations: understanding of accounting principles, month-end close, financial controls and reporting, and compliance requirements
- Builder mindset: experience with, or a strong interest in, using AI to optimise how finance processes run
- Comfortable working cross-functionally, bringing a proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork
- Confident with finance systems and Excel/Sheets, and quick to pick up new tools
- Solid grasp of Australian compliance
