Job Summary
Manage capital work in progress through to asset capitalisation upon project completion and maintain fixed asset, intangible asset, and inventory registers across multiple regions. Partner with stakeholders to track capital projects, develop accounting policies for capitalisation and inventory, and act as the key finance lead for wage capitalisation. Prepare asset schedules and movement analysis for half-year and year-end reporting, support external audits, and contribute to annual budgeting and rolling forecasts. Requires minimum 2 years experience and CPA/CA qualification; based in Brisbane with remote-first culture.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification (or currently studying toward one)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of financial management in a technology-driven environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a global organisation with multi-jurisdictional operations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or other large ERP systems
