Financial Accountant (Intermediate)

Intermediate Financial Accountant to support APAC entities, focusing on accurate financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, and compliance. Responsibilities include month-end journal entries (including payroll-related journals and fixed assets), payroll journals, reconciliations, preparation of monthly reporting packages, year-end audit support, statutory reporting coordination, intercompany activity, cash flow projections, and ad hoc analyses. Work across multiple entities and currencies, leveraging ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite) and AI-enabled workflows to improve month-end processes. Location is remote with preferred bases in Toronto, Canada or Sydney, Australia; collaboration with global teams and cross-functional partners (AP, AR, FP&A) to ensure accurate inputs and continuous process improvement. Must have 3–5+ years in accounting, exposure to multi-entity/multi-jurisdictional environments, and strong technical accounting skills; SaaS/global B2B experience is a plus. The role offers exposure to Board-level reporting, multi-national operations, and strategic initiatives within a growing organization.
