Job Summary
Prepare monthly board packs, consolidated financial statements, and statutory returns while managing foreign exchange risk and working capital metrics. Calculate budget variances, issue financial operating metrics, and respond to ad hoc information requests from leadership. Work with auditors on regular reviews and assist in integrating acquired companies into the group structure. Maintain documented accounting policies, internal controls, and IFRS reporting processes to support future scaling. This role requires a qualified accountant with 3-4+ years of experience to join the finance team of 40 colleagues across Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant
- 3-4+ years PQE in a relevant position
- Deadline driven
- Experience working alongside commercial, product and operations functional leaders to support them in day-to-day commercial & operating decisions
- Strong understanding of best practices for managing a business operating across multiple international locations
- Salesforce/Financial Force
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Suites
- A strong understanding of IFRS reporting and acquisition accounting
- Positive, solution-oriented mindset
- A self-starter, highly motivated with a focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail
- Strong appreciation and belief in establishing systems and processes to ensure consistent strong operational performance
