Job Summary
Maintain and update fixed asset records in FAMIS for over 8,500 state-inventoried assets, ensuring compliance with university and state regulations. Audit, enter, and maintain inventory and asset account data, review and approve AggieBuy documents for property code assignments, and administer equipment insurance coverage and claims. Manage the university fleet management program, oversee departmental correction requests and asset transfers in Canopy, and provide customer service and guidance to departments regarding inventory, asset management, and compliance requirements. Assist with departmental property management training and develop supporting resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in business and financial systems, including inventory and asset management applications
- Must be able to present acceptable and original documents to prove identity and authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in FAMIS/Canopy, AggieBuy, Radiant, Emburse software programs
