Job Summary
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, complete month-end journals, and perform balance sheet reconciliations to support the Group Financial Controller. Maintain general ledger accounts, ensure statutory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in finance processes and systems. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to deliver meaningful business performance insights. This hands-on role requires balancing detail, deadlines, and stakeholder support within a collaborative environment. You will bring strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in month-end processes to help ensure financial information is accurate and delivered on time.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in a financial accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end processes and financial reporting
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CPA or CA qualification, or progress towards qualification
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a financial accounting role, ideally within a medium to large organisation
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Sound Excel and financial systems capability
- CPA or CA qualification, or progress towards qualification, which is desirable
